Ordering

It's suggested to check our availability as soon as you know your event date and book up to 3 months early.

Once you've submitted your Custom Cake Order Form, we will reach out to you via email to discuss:

  •     How many servings required

  •     Style, Florals, Designs etc.

  •     Venue or Location (if delivery is needed)

  •     Pricing

Once we've gone over these details, you will receive a contract and invoice via email. We will not treat your order as accepted until your contract has been signed and your deposit has been received.

To Hold Your Event Date

Magnolia Cakes Co. requires that your custom contract be signed and a deposit be made in order to secure your wedding date. If the contract and deposit are not submitted within 7 days, your event date is not guaranteed.

The deposit amount will be 25% of your total order price. This deposit is nonrefundable. The remaining balance will be due 1 month prior to the wedding date. The deposit and final payment will be made through an online invoice via credit/debit card. Any late payments may be subject to late fees.

Pickup & Delivery

If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Magnolia Cakes Co. possession. We cannot be held responsible for any damages that take place once the cake has left our location. You will be asked to sign a waiver to guarantee you are happy with your order. We would recommend the cake travels flat on the floorboard of a car or have someone hold it in their lap for the journey.

For wedding cakes, we would recommend having your cake delivered unless you prefer to pickup. The safest way to travel is with the cake tiers boxed individually and set up at the venue. Delivery and setup at the venue is based on mileage and time taken at the venue for setup. We will be able to provide you with this cost on your quote. We will deliver and set up your cake on the day of your wedding at an agreed time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided correct delivery information and ensure that the venue is open and available at the arranged time.

If no one is available to receive the cake at the agreed delivery time, your order will be returned to our location and we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time; for which a charge will be payable. Magnolia Cakes Co. accepts no responsibility for any loss or consequential loss incurred by the client as a result. Magnolia Cakes Co. is experienced in transporting and handling large and delicate cakes. To ensure a proper wedding experience and peace of mind, delivery service should be considered.

Allergies

Please be aware that while your cake may not be made with gluten, nuts or a nut product, it will have been prepared in a kitchen where gluten and nut products may be used in other cakes and fillings. We cannot guarantee that your cake will be free from all nut traces or gluten.

All of the cakes, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, gluten or nuts. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of this allergy information. We shall not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of cake, frostings or fillings.
